SYNOPSIS

Eli (Tuvia Tavi) works as a handyman at an old age home in the ancient city of Saffed. He develops an affection for Rachel (Berta Litvina), one of the residents who befriends him and treats him like a son. A young woman (Liora Rivlin) comes to the retirement home fore burial arrangement of her grandfather and befriends Eli. An interesting relationship developes between them. An unusual triangle is formed. Eli has to make a choice – stay with Rachel and the older people in the mysterious city of Saffed, or leave with the young woman he has just met to the modern city - TEl Aviv.

REVIEWS

I note with interest that some critics are calling THE DREAMER sensitive. I find it interesting because, although it looks simple, it's heart is complex. This is a relief from most films of to-day, that look complex when they are all too simple.
